a Lil' update of my life currently,
other than literally slacking at home, here's what i did too..

2 weeks ago bernard(Holy One) treated me to HOG'S BREATHE at vivo,
yes STEAK! whooo, everything i ordered was on the house by him that day ( at hog's)
kt, me and him ordered different steaks,
three of them tasted as good, except they had different sauces to dip along with,
their steaks are as good as outbacks, both had lots of fats on the steak (yum yum!)
the shakes (vanilla, choc & strawberry) were pretty average tho, and one apple crumble for dessert we ordered, OMG 3 of us can hardly finish sia, it's super BIG !

so once again i would like to thank Mr Bernard Boey for the treat =D (thank you bro!)

on 08/08/08, FIR Concert!

me and kt meet up in the evening and took train all the way to kallang, then bus to indoor stadium, wow the bus packed until like it's never packed before
but still, we managed to survive till the stadium..
the concert was crazy, most of the people, including us were jumping anad singing like mad,
and you have to jump with the crowd in order to see the stage, if not you will be blocked, haha!
but so sad, they didnt sang the songs i was hoping they would:

Blue Doors Ahead & Ai Guo

i suay sia, always the songs i liked the singers never sing during their concerts =/
but overall it was a very good concert, tho critics criticised faye was out of breathe halfway through the concert, i believed everyone would be if they keep singing those high and fast paced songs throughout most part of the concerts eh

watched a few movies these 2 weeks..

Fate

the korean show, Fate, featuring alot of hunks and a few beauties..
basically, this show is about 4 buddies(from the same gang), and after trying to rob the money of their mafia boss's place, 4 of their fates changed, but most of the storyline revolved around the 2 guys in the poster, this movie have alot of action scenes, with a bit of gore and love

storyline is pretty confusing, but ending is still quite acceptable (oh ya there's a qi yu wu lookalike inside the show)

so i would give it 3/5 =)

The Mummy: Tomb of The Dragon Emperor

like a lot of reviews indicated, i feel that this sequel is not as great as the first two,
storyline is pretty much straightforward and easy to guess what would happen next,
the humor part is still not bad, but action scenes were just barely enough for a show of 2 hours duration,

3.5/5 in my opinion..

Money No Enough 2

just watched it yesterday(like finally!)
10 yrs after the first sequel, they are able to re-enact what the first movie was trying to imply yet introducing what problems our people are facing currently (like ERP, food prices increase etc)

like the first movie, they showed how money could snatch away people's bond with each other and blinded them from seeing the fact that the love and care for each other are still more important..

though nearly half of the movie was in hokkien, there were english subtitles for me to understand, haha (im a hokkien idiot, and partially chinese idiot)
the show had alot of very funny and "singaporean" jokes, yet still they managed to move people to tears with the touching scenes (psss~ yiwen, ajh and kt cried, hahaha oops!)
overall a very good movie

4.5/5 ! woot~

after the show, tkb, ajh and me sat down at the hong kong cafe to eat and chat abit, i haven really seen them for quite some time, haha so took the chance to talk to them, but the main topic was still bout NS, haha, what else man! tkb was talking about how to kill centipede if he met one during outfield or something, haha and snakes too, damn funny XD

celebrating yensiang's birthday with AJH and huixian at OUTBACKS

walked all the way from city link to millenia walk, very far pls!
when we reached there, not much people, just a handful of them

settled down le quickly look at the menu and ordered steaks(duh!)
